Inauguration of “Del Taco a la Burger” Nogales Collective Art Exhibit at the GAM
Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. April 30, 2016. In furthering the promotion of art and culture in the city, the collective art exhibit “Del Taco a la Burger” was recently inaugurated at the Municipal Art Gallery (GAM) located in the Malecón [next to Plaza Luis Donaldo Colosio].
The inauguration of the exhibit, which features the work of five artists from Nogales, was attended by more than 200 people along with the artists. Nina Mier Nogales, Municipal Director of Art & Culture, explained the 19 pieces of work in the exhibit will remain at the GAM through May 29th and can be seen Wednesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. These same pieces will then take part in an exhibit in Spain.
The Nogales Artists Collective “Del Taco a la Burger” is made up of: Carlos Cabrera Cox, Guadalupe Serrano, Luis Diego Amaya Taddei, Nom Santus, and Ricardo Santos Hernandez.
