Day of the Dead activities organized by City Office on Art & Culture / “Rodeo Drive” curios shops
All activities along “Rodeo Drive” Calle 32 (former road to Cholla Bay)
- November 1st – many of the shop owners of traditional ethnic origin install diverse Day of the Dead altars per their varied customs
- November 2nd – Traditional Day of the Dead celebration per diverse customs
- November 3rd – Set up of Day of the Dead altars along Calle 32 by contest participants
- November 4th – Beginning at 5 p.m. Judges will visit Day of the Dead altars to learn about and evaluate exhibits. Stage presentation will include a musical put on by the Casa de la Cultura from 7:30 – 9:30 pm
- November 5th – Cultural artistic program commemorating Day of the Dead, beginning at 4 p.m. from the main stage on Calle 32
