Cobach student’s design chosen as Dialysis Center logo

Jesús Gerardo Cuadros Castro, a student at the local COBACH high school, was the winner of the open call issued by the Comprehensive Community Assistance Project Civil Association for the logo design that will represent the highly anticipated Dialysis Center.

After analyzing 21 proposals submitted to the local office on Integral Family Development (DIF), presided over by Mrs. Rafaela Félix de Figueroa, judges from the aforementioned Civil Association deliberated before selecting Caudras’ work.

Using red, blue, and green, the fifth semester student’s design includes various parts of the renal system and highlights both creativity and originality.

The first prize for the design contest was to be presented to Cuadras Castro during the recent Black & White Ball held on Nov. 29th. As winner of the design contest, Gerardo Cuadras Castro received a laptop computer, while 2nd and 3rd prize winners Annyuli Balderrama Delgado and Juan Manuel Macías Carrouché were awarded 1000 and 500 pesos respectively along with a dinner certificates and acknowledgment certificates. The 2nd and 3rd prize winners were given their awards directly at the DIF offices located at the intersection of Ave. Sinaloa and Calle Ruiz Cortines.

The Dialysis Center is located near the General Hospital in the northern part of the city and is expected to begin operations in early 2015, once equipment needs are met.
