Get ready for some spice on the beach as there are two chili cook-off opportunities this upcoming holiday weekend!
On Friday, Jan. 17th, the Annual CHOPPS Pod (Chili Heads of Puerto Penasco) Cookoff will be held along the beach area of Playa de Oro RV Park in the Mirador. Just as last year, this cook-off is joined with an all-day Swap Meet benefiting the Santa Claus Club. Saturday, Jan. 18th, Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) gears up for South of the Border-Fun in the Sun, also be held at Playa de Oro RV Park on the beach.
