The Amores de Peñasco Children’s Home in town (of the DIF) is in need of diapers and wipes, so what better way to support these efforts than by having a social gathering/collection of donated items? Bring diapers and wipes to donate to Amores de Peñasco, while enjoying an afternoon at Giuseppi’s on Blvd. Fremont. Ladies, join in! Tuesday June 25th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Anita and staff will have a variety of pastries, tea and, of course, their large selection of specialty coffee drinks for sale.
There is a particular need for the larger size diapers for toddlers. Those sizes are indicated as 4 and 5.
Tip: Diapers have been on sale at the Aurrera bodega. If you are going to the U.S. and back between now and the party, you might find the best prices at a WalMart. If you are in Puerto Penasco, try to get to the bodega while the sale is still on.
