The Puerto Peñasco business sector is gearing up for this year’s “Buen Fin” weekend, Nov. 14th – 17th, with big discounts available at 23 local businesses, as well as promotions in credit and debit purchases, plus special prices at the movie theater.
Guillermo Muñoz Fierros, local President of the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) indicates 23 businesses have signed up to participate in the federal program coordinated jointly by the National Confederation of Commerce Chambers (CONCANACO) and Secretary of the Economy. The goal of “Buen Fin” efforts, which take place on the long weekend surrounding Mexico’s Revolution Day, is to boost commerce while benefiting families while providing specials and discounts for early holiday shopping.
Muñoz remarked businesses participating in the “Buen Fin” effort include furniture galleries, boutiques, health service clinics, and grocery stores, among others, who will be offering discounts from 10% to 20% or more in purchases over the weekend.
The Puerto Peñasco CANACO President emphasized there will also be important promotions available for those who pay with credit or debit cards, including returns on purchases and credits of up to 10,000 pesos.
Muñoz invites the entire community to look for Buen Fin promotions at local stores, beginning this Friday and through Monday, the 17th in order to be sure to take advantage of discounts at participating businesses. Look for the Buen Fin sign in the window!
