Prior to placement of the monument, groups of cyclists rode from Exodo Bikes on Ave. Guillermo Prieto to the memorial spot located near the former municipal airport.

Vogar’s father, Francisco Rafael Ozuna “El Pancho Gordo” expressed appreciation for the beautiful memorial to his son, located in a spot he will frequently see as a reminder of Vogar. He added he was proud his son had been part of a group of cyclists.
