Puerto Peñasco’s Vida Joven is the first Club in Mexico. According to Dottie Homeyer, one of the event organizer’s from the local Family of God Church, “Puerto Peñasco Young Life or Vida Joven offers hope through values, a reality of fun, adventure, games, friendship, and giving kids a sense of significance.”

In the coming year, Young Life would like to be able to add Wyldlife Club for middle schoolers, and Young Lives Club that helps teen single moms.  Their adult leaders provide a safe environment and a Fun place for kids to gather and hang out. Every other Friday here in Peñasco, Vida Joven offers a “Club” that attracts up to 100 teens in fun organized events. Homeyer adds, “It is our desire to raise enough funds to be able to send 100 area teens to a week-long Young Life camp……..lives can be forever positively changed at one of these events.”
