Beer tasting and live music will be the main dishes at the 2nd Chevefest “Beer Fest” this Saturday, September 17th, at the event venue located next to El Tapeo Wine Bar (Laos Mar/Best Western).
Residents and tourists alike will have the chance to try out new craft beer lines from the region at the event, which will also include the music of Los Garcia of Mexicali, along with local artists: Grupo Rojo, Joshua Ellis, Efecto Eva, and Cash.
Some of the beer distributors on hand for the 2nd Chevefest are to include 214 Brewing Co., Cervecería Averno, and CB Distributing. Each will have stands set up, offering samplings from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm to attendees.
A “game” area will include a giant Jenga and Beer Pong, plus there will be prizes and gifts for participants provided by Tecate, not to mention a blind tasting of “Love Beer” by Heineken.
Entry to the 2nd Chevefest, to be held Saturday, Sept. 17th, is 200 pesos which includes the 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm tasting.
